Our cellar hosted our first dinner meeting of 2011. Cheers!!!
Over 52 ladies, GO GIRLS!!! took control of my cellar... lol and fully enjoyed the food, wine, and the tour.

I know, I have an office and a lab to do this, but sometimes I need a private moment in the cellar to feel our products again, to see their evolution and how they are expressing now all that bouquet of feelings that so hard we tried every year to obtain and transmit through the wine to our customers... and especially to the judges in a wine competition..:)

Orchard pruning season (apple trees)

Hi guys, this is your winemaker...Sergio Benavides, I would like to tell you a little bit about what we are doing now in our beautiful vineyard and orchard.
Our apple trees have just been pruned. Those apples have been used for our future wine club members as Port Apple currently aging in our French oak barrels as a Reserved Edition !!!!!!

Our apple trees look beautiful!!!! spring is coming soon!!!!! Our cherry trees have a little longer to go before they get pruned. The freshly picked fruit will be used to create a variety of fruit wines.

Yes, all the activities in our vineyard are starting!!! The vines are happy and ready to wake up after this cold winter......

Acquaviva is a family-owned 40-acre estate vineyard and full service winery located at the corner of Route 38 and Meredith Road in Maple Park, Illinois. The 20,000 sq. ft. facility includes a tasting bar, Neapolitan-style pizza bistro with foods paired to accompany the wines, retail marketplace, private event space, as well as a visible winemaking production center.
